Harold A Strayer, 77, of Greeley died Thursday, may 19 in Greeley.
He was born December 21, 1916 in oxford, Nebraska, to Ernest and Mary (Davis) Strayer.
On September 1, 1946 he married Beryle Pickett.
Mr. Strayer attended school in the McCook, Nebraska schools. He moved to Greeley in 1942 where he had his own truck line and drove to Chicago and back every week.
He was a member of the Methodist Church in Eaton.
Survivors are his wife, Beryle of Greeley; a son Robert; a sister, Lila Herbert of Centralia , Washington; a grandson Cody of La Salle; two nieces and two nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Stoddard Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Friends may visit from 1 to 8 pm Sunday at Stoddard Funeral Home.
Memorial gifts may be made to Hospice of Northern Colorado or the Methodist Church of Eaton in care of Stoddard Funeral Home.
