Mrs. Gertrude Isabelle Campbell, 83, of 6258 Monroe Ave., Hammond, died Wednesday at her home.
A Hammond resident for the past 62 years, she was president of the Riverside PTA and past worthy Matron of the Eastern Star Chapter 1927.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ema Beardsley, Hammond; two sons, Hugh of Highland and Donald of Gary; four grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Cronk, Battle Creek, Mich.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Snyder Funeral Home, 5719 Hohman Ave. Burial will be in Ridge Lawn Cemetery.
