Edward Pfannenstiel, 54, Woonsocket, Rhode Island, died Jan. 27th following a long illness. He was a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Warren and Randall; four daughters, Mrs. Barbara Jarret, Mrs. Michelle Gervais, Miss Christine Pfannenstiel and Latricia Pfannenstiel, all of Woonsocket; his father, John M. Pfannenstiel; four brothers, Theodore, John R., Henry and Donald; nine sisters, Mrs. Lucy Schmidtberger, Mrs. Ida Dinkel, Mrs. Philomine Berens, Mrs. Eleanore Schumacher, Mrs. Louise Stecklein, Mrs. Richard Ross, Mrs. Rosie Dome, Mrs. Virginia Dreiling, and Mrs. Theresa Schippers.

A military funeral was held Jan. 30th with a mass in Precious Blood Church. The Rev. Norman Coutemanche was the celebrant and officiated at the burial in St. John Baptist Cemetery.
