FOUNTAIN GREEN

Funeral services for Melissa Jane Caldwell Adams, 87, were held here Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the ward chapel and interment was in the Fountain Green cemetery. Mrs. Adams died Sunday at American Fork at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Melissa Despain. Mrs. Adams was born April 7, 1851 at Spanish Fork, a daughter of Mathew and Barzilla Gugson (Guymon) Caldwell. Her family moved to Fountain Green when she was a child and in 1901 moved to Pleasant Grove. Her husband died in 1925. She is survived by four sons and two daughters, William A. and Delos Adams of Garland; Burton H. Adams of Pleasant Grove; Byron L. Adams of Sterling, Idaho; Mrs. Melissa Despain of American Fork; Mrs. Vilate West of Pleasant Grove; fifty three grandchildren, sixty-six great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
