William A. Adams

TREMONTON- William Albert Adams, 91, of Tremonton, died Saturday morning in a Brigham City nursing home after a seven month illness.
Mr. Adams was born Dec. 19, 1874, in Fountain Green, Utah, a son of William Henry and Melissa Jane Caldwell Adams.
He was reared and educated in Fountain Green and attended
Snow College of Ephriam.
He was married to Virginia Brann on April 1, 1903, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, She died March 26, 1955, in Tremonton.
He served a mission for the LDS Church in the Southern States from 1901 to 1902. He had
been a ward chorister in the East Garland Ward, ward teacher and Sunday School teacher.
He had been ward teaching supervisor in the Tremonton First Ward.
He was a member of the Tremonton Lions Club, Box Elder Farm Bureau and Sons of Utah
Pioneers.
He moved to East Garland in 1904 and to Tremonton in 1941.
Surviving are the following sons and daughters; Golden Adams, East Garland; William L. Adams, Tremonton; Hugh A. Adams Blackfoot, Idaho; Mrs. Russell (Ruth) Jenkins, Riverton, Utah; Mrs. Garrett (Maude) Pack, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Horace (Joy) Beezley, Elko, Nev.; Mrs. Miles (Alice) Goss, Sacramento, Calif.; 24 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, one brother, Bryon Adams, Blackfoot, Idaho.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 12 noon in the Tremonton First Ward Chapel.
Friends may call at the Rogers Mortuary in Tremonton Monday from 7 to 10 p.m. and Tuesday
from 10 a.m. until services. Burial in Riverview Cemetery in Tremonton.
