Mr. Joe Paul Daugherty, Sr., age 75 of Lebanon, KY, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2016. He was born on March 28, 1940 in Lebanon, KY. Mr. Daugherty was the owner and operator of the Joe Paul Daugherty Realty Agency, having been in business for 50 years. In addition to being a realtor, Joe Paul was also a broker and auctioneer. He was also a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by: Son: Joseph Paul Daugherty, Jr. Parents: Louis Raymond and Elizabeth Irene Hamilton Daugherty. Three Brothers: L.R., Pete and Clifton Daugherty. Three Sisters: Florence Bott, Gladys Thomas and Colette Schickel.
Survivors Include: Wife of 56 years: Gloria Jean “Jeanie” Williams Daugherty – Lebanon, KY. Daughter- Denise (Dennis) Thomas – Two Sons: Patrick (Cindy) Daugherty; David (Renee) Daugherty - all of Lebanon. Sister: Cecilia Spalding – Lebanon, KY. Brother: Harold Daugherty- Louisville, KY. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 4, 2016 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Bosley Funeral Home. Prayer services will be held at 7:00 Thursday evening by Deacon Joe Dant.
