SCHICKEL - Colette Daugherty, 76, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at the Hosparus Inpatient Unit. Colette was a native of Raywick, KY, a retired account representative for the former Kitchum Directory Advertising Company, where she had over 20 years of service, and a former member of St. Martha Catholic Church. Preceding her in death were her parents, Louis & Irene Daugherty; her husband, Paul J. Schickel; a daughter, Dana Schickel; a sister, Florence Bott; and a brother, Charles Daugherty. Survivors include her children, Beth Ann Schickel-Papoutsis (Thomas) and Kevin P. Schickel (Elizabeth Ann); sisters, Cecelia Spalding and Gladys Thomas; brothers, L.R., Clifton (Nancy), Harold (Louise) & Joe Paul Daugherty (Jeanie); grandchildren, Joey, Catherine, Paul, Andrew & Mia Papoutsis and Anna & Ava Schickel. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 6, 2010 at St. Martha Catholic Church, 2825 Klondike Lane, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Friday, November 5, 2010 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hosparus of Louisville in her memory.
