Rose M. Stewart, 86, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Royal Terrace Nursing and Rehab in Olathe, Kansas. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m., Friday, January 8, 2016 at Belden Larkin Funeral Home with Pastor Lynn Dickson of First Christian Church officiating. Visitation with the family present will be from 6 until 8 p.m., Thursday, January 7, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Muncie Cemetery. Rose was born May 23, 1929 in Leavenworth, Kansas the daughter of Scott and Florence (Hill) Overfield. She married Robert D Stewart, September 30, 1965 in Miami, Oklahoma, he preceded her in death on May 6, 2014. Rose was a homemaker. She loved the outdoors, gardening, spending time with family, and was an animal lover, especially enjoyed her cats. She is survived by; three daughters; Cynthia Lanza and her husband Jaime of Phoenix, Arizona, Sandra Loar of Leavenworth, Kansas and Robin Halstead and her husband Allen of Leavenworth, Kansas, nine grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 14 brothers and sisters and one great granddaughter, Alivia. Memorials in her name may be directed to the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Belden-Larkin Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Condolences may be sent to www.beldenlarkin.com.
