MARY BARNEWITZ
Mrs. Mary O. Barnewitz 86, of Highland St., died Friday in a Vallejo hospital after a long illness.
A native of Napa, she was the daughter of pioneer John Chalmers. She was a Vallejo resident for 68 years.
She was a 50-year member of silver Spray Chapter No. 59, OES, Napa.
Mrs. Barnewitz is survived by two daughters, Miss Daisy Barnewitz and Mrs. Virginia Baker, both of Vallejo; a son, Alfred T. of Santa Rosa; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A private funeral service will be held today in the Wiggins funeral Home. Rev. Thomas Kerr of the Community Presbyterian Church will officiate. Entombment will be in Skyview Memorial Lawn.
