Mrs. James Brown, Formerly Grace Chalmers, Dies in Metropolis.

Mrs. James Brown, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Chalmers of Napa, passed away in San Francisco Wednesday evening after brief illness due to pneumonia.

The remains will be brought to Napa for interment.

Deceased was a native of Napa, aged 35 years. She had resided in San Francisco for the past nine years. She will be best remembered in Napa by her maiden name, Grace Chalmers.

She is survived by a husband and these children: Ruth, Dorothy, Grace and James. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Chalmers of Napa, and these brothers and sisters are left; Mrs. Gertrude Tanner, Mrs. W.A. Davis, and Mrs. Frank McReynolds of Napa; A.E. and J.S. Chalmers of Mendocino County; Mrs. A.C. Aitken of Duncan, Vancouver Island; and Mrs. Fred Barnewitz of Vallejo.
