John M. Wells, who has been ill for
some time, passed away at the home of
his aged mother in Bigelow, Kansas on
Wednesday, June 6, 1917 at the age of
37 years, 2 months and 13 days.
Mr. Wells was born in Marshall county,
Kansas, near Bigelow on March 24, 1880
He is survived by his mother, four
brothers three sisters, Perry Wells,
Jack Wells, Henry Wells, Mary Wells,
Alice Wells and Mrs. George Dennis,
all of Bigelow, Isaac Wells, Westmore-
land, Kansas; his father and one brother
preceded him in death.
He was a member of the Christian church
for the last seventeen years.
Funeral services were held at Bigelow,
Kansas this afternoon with Elder H.E.
Ballou officiating.
Interment was in the Wells Cemetery,
southwest of Frankfort, Kansas.
