Charley W. "Boy" Berry, 72 died at 5:00 a.m. Thursday at his home at Port Royal. He had been a member of the Port Royal Baptist Church for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs Laura Hawkins Berry; five daughters, Mrs. Woodrow Batts, Turners Station, Mrs. Howard Erwin and Miss Ann Berry, both of Indiana, Mrs. Morris Baxter, Frankfort, and Miss Linda Perry, Port Royal; ten sons, Gilbert Berry, Louisville, Gordon Berry, Goebel Berry, Grant Berry, Parker Berry, Sherman Berry, Bobby Berry, Charley Berry, Vivian Berry and Gayle Berry, all of Port Royal; two brothers, Rowan Berry and Chester Berry, both of Port royal, several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted at the Port Royal Baptist Church at 3:00 p.m. Saturday with Rev. N H. McCrummen officiating. Burial was in the Port Royal Cemetery.
