Sherman Berry, age 83 of Port Royal, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020. He was the son of the late Charlie William & Laura Mae (Hawkins) Berry. Sherman retired from Ford Motor Company after 27 years and was a member, deacon & trustee of the Port Royal Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce (Louden) Berry; daughter, Lisa Berry; a son, Mark Gibson; granddaughter, Adriane Dawn Clem; three sisters and four brothers.

Survived By:

Son: Larry Gibson of Campbellsburg

Daughter: Joyce Smith of Georgetown

Sister: Linda Bates of Carrollton

Brother: Bobby Berry of Indiana


Funeral Service: 11 AM on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Carl Rucker. Rev. Amber Inscore-Essick will be assisting.

Interment: Port Royal Cemetery
