Mr. Jack Berry, 81 of Route 1, Turners Station, died Sunday, October 23 at the Baptist East Hospital, Louisville. He was a retired farmer; a former Magistrate with twenty years service; former State Highway Department employee; and former spot checker at the ASCS Office.

He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Steve (Marjorie) Wood, Cincinnati, Ohio; two sons, Joe L. Berry, Louisville and Howard E, Berry, Jeffersonville, Indiana; one sister, Mrs. Neppie Baxter,Louisville; his stepmother, Mrs. Laura Mae Berry, Port Royal; four half sisters, Mrs. Curtly (Beulah) Marsh, Prestonville, Kentucky, Mrs. Neal (Ann) Berrier, Louisville, Mrs. Buster (Linda) Bates, Worthville, Kentucky and Mrs. Georgia Lee Towns, Bluffton, Indiana; six half brothers, Gayle Berry, Port Royal, Gilbert Berry, Route 1, Sulphur, Parker Berry, English, Gordon Berry, Louisville, Sherman Berry, Port Royal and Bobby Berry, Gas City, Indiana; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 3 stepgrandchildren.

Funeral services were held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 25 from Prewitt's, New Castle. Rev. Bob Green, pastor of the Port Royal Baptist Church, officiated. Interment was in the Port Royal Cemetery.
