Mrs. Cribb was born October 24, 1927, in Williamsburg County, a daughter of Johnny Lorenza Cox and Mettie Godwin Cox.
She was a retired employee of Oneita Industries. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Andrews where she enjoyed attending Bible Study.
She was survived by a daughter, Doris C. (Tommy) Moore; nine grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren; a brother, Wayne (Harriett) Cox; a sister, Hattie C. Cantley; and two daughters-in-law, Kathy Cribb and Patricia (Harry) Martin.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband; two sons, John William "JW" Cribb and Danny Cribb; four brothers, Warren Cox, Ralph Cox, Shorty Cox, and Lorenza Cox; and two sisters, Lucille Player and Lola Bell Cox.
Funeral services were Friday, September 25, 2015, in First Baptist Church of Andrews. The Rev. Paul Sapp officiated. Burial, directed by McKenzie Funeral Home, followed in Andrews Memorial Cemetery.
