Lucille Cox Player, 91, died Saturday June 27, 2015, at Tablerock Healthcare in Kimberling City, MO
Mrs. Player was born September 7, 1923, in Williamsburg County, a daughter of the late Johnnie and Mettie Cox.
She married Ted Player on December 24, 1941.
She was survived by a son Ronnie (Mary) Player of Branson, MO; six grandchildren, Rhonda (Brad) Hood of Marshalltown, IA, Karen (Cory) Pavlik of Lincoln, NE, Nichole (Keith) Powery of Peachtree Corners, GA, Richard (Jenny) Player of Macedonia, IA, Roger (Brooke) Player of Omaha, NE, and Rachel (Luke) Burtwistle of Gretna, NE; six great-grandsons; nine great-granddaughters; a great-great-grandson; two sisters Hattie Cantley, Magie Cribb; a brother, Wayne (Harriet) Cox; and two sisters-in-law, Patsy Cox, and Louise Cox
She was predeceased by her husband, Ted Player; four brothers; Ralph Cox, Lorenza Cox, Roneldo "Shorty" Cox, Warren Cox; and an infant sister, Lola Bell
Funeral services were 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 3, 2015, in Piney Forest Baptist Church. The Rev. Craig Stephenson officiated. Burial, directed by Mayer Funeral Home, followed in Andrews Memorial Cemetery.
