Pennell lived a full life that revolved around his loving family, faith in his Savior, and dedication to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Married his sweetheart, Kay, for time and all eternity on August 15, 1949.
Survived by his wife, their children, Teresa, Mike (Cheri), Judy (Jerry), Jeff (Wendy), Karine (Robert), Kerry (Karen), and his favorite Karl; twenty-five grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, twin brother, Parnell (Violet); and sister, Nancy. Preceded in death by son, Burns; and granddaughters, Heather and April.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Jordan North Fourth Ward Chapel, 4270 South Falcon Street (4145 West). Viewings will be held on Friday, August 28, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road (1700 West), and prior to the services at the church on Saturday from 10:00-10:45 a.m.
Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
