Nancy Ross was the second Nancy born to Joseph Harve Ross and Nancy Williams Ross abt 1801 in Nelson Co., KY. It is possible that she is a twin to her brother John Ross born in 1801. Nancy married John Collins Dec. 25, 1823 in Nelson County. They had at least one son; Peter W. Collins born 1826. Nancy appears to have died by 1828, about the same time as her brother John. Her husband John Collins then married Elizabeth Rogers Ross who was John Ross' first wife in the spring of 1829. It appears that John Collins married Elizabeth Rogers Ross in Larue County.
