Funeral Service for Mrs. Joy Moore Bailey, age 81, will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, February 18, 2015, at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, Haynesville, LA with Bro. Danny Triplet officiating. Interment will follow in Colquitt Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 17, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bailey was born on February 22, 1933 to John and Lottie Hambrick Moore in Three Creeks, AR and passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2015 in Haynesville. She was a member of Three Creeks Baptist Church, homemaker and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Bobby Gene Bailey; son, Robin Bailey and wife, Linda of Crossett, AR; two daughters, Jean Bailey of Haynesville, Sharon Murray and husband, Wallace of Marietta, GA; twelve grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and sister, Frances Haltom.
Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Bobby Dean Bailey, Timothy Mark Bailey, John Samuel Bailey, three grandchildren, and numerous brothers and sisters.
Pallbearers will be Jerry W. Childress, Jody Childress, Ricky Bowman, John Bailey, Dakotah Bailey, and Daniel Bailey.
