She was born on December 2, 1922 in Three Creeks, Arkansas to the late John Whittaker and Lottie Viola (Hambrick) Moore. She was retired from Firestone/Amfuel as a quality control inspector and was a member of Salem Baptist Church. She loved to paint, work puzzles and found her greatest joys in her faith, her flower gardens, and her cat Puddin.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Clyde Edward Scroggins, three sisters, Peg New, Ruby Marie Moore, Lillian Holder; and five brothers, Aaron, Whitt, Booster, Dick and Morgan Moore.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 10:00 am at Salem Baptist Church Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery
