Lillian Vernell Holder, 75, of Parkers Chapel, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010, at the John R. Williamson Hospice House.

Lillian was born Oct. 26, 1935, in Three Creeks, to John Whitt Moore and Lottie Viola Hambrick Moore. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Whitt, Aaron, J.D. "Booster," Stewart "Dick" and Buddy Moore; and one sister, Emma M. New.

Survivors include her husband, Franklin Holder; her daughter, Rose Maxfield and her husband, Daniel, of Three Creeks; a son, Max Holder and his wife, Rhonda, of Parkers Chapel; three sisters, Floy Scroggins of Mount Holly, Joy Bailey of Summerfield, La., and Frances Haltom of El Dorado; one grandson, Chris Maxfield of Three Creeks; three granddaughters, Jessica Maxfield of Three Creeks, Melissa Holder, and Linley Holder of Parkers Chapel.

A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Young's.

Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30, at Three Creeks Baptist Church with the Rev. James Sparks officiating. Interment will follow in Three Creeks Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
