Jennie and the Titanic
Jennie had joined the Mormon Church [The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints] and wanted to go to Utah to join the Saints. She bought steerage on a ship and kept getting feelings (she described them as psychic) that she shouldn't go. Jennie kept ignoring the feelings but finally decided she was going no matter what. Jennie went to the dock to board the ship and became physically ill. Jennie was so ill ship personnel prohibited her from boarding. After the ship left Jennie felt instantly better. The ship she was going to take was the Titanic. Jennie booked passage on the next ship and saw wreckage from the Titanic from the deck of her ship on the voyage.
