Early Life: Melvin "Mac" was born February 24, 1923, in Provo, Utah, to Joseph Bergman McReavy and Jennie Souter McReavy.
Life's Work/Service/Interests: He married Edna Gardner July 12, 1946, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. He worked for the Southern and Union Pacific Railroads, retiring in 1980 after 44½ years. He was also a general building contractor. He enjoyed many hours in his vegetable garden and sharing his produce with his friends at the mall. He enjoyed his boats, fishing, water skiing, river running, and snow skiing. Melvin Souter "Mac" McReavy died Saturday, February 24, 1996, at his home, on his 73rd birthday.
Survived By: His wife; his four children: Pat Drummond, Pauline, Carl (Pat), and Keith; 11 grandchildren; one great grandchild; and his brother, Lyle Russell McReavy.
