Mrs. Edith Lyle Kennedy, 74, died at her home at 201 East Locust Wednesday morning after a long illness. She had lived in the Cherokee community for 47 years. Surviving are one daughter, Jessie of Cherokee; two brothers, Albert Cooper of Spencer and Earl Cooper of Springdale, Wash.; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Mrs. Kennedy was a member of Rebekah lodge and Women's Relief Corps in Cherokee. Funeral will be Saturday at 2 p. m. from the Church of Christ, Rev. F. D. Walker officiating, preceded by a prayer at Boothby funeral home at 1:30. Burial win be in Waterman cemetery, Sutherland.
