Inez Mary Noethe, age 96 of Sutherland, passed away Sunday, March 21st.
She was the daughter of John and Myrtle Brown Cooper, was born August 15, 1896 at Sutherland, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Mathias Noethe on February 14, 1917, at Sutherland. They farmed until 1945 when they moved into Sutherland. He passed away in 1984. She was a member of the Sacred Heath Catholic Church in Sutherland, St. Ann's Guild and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and eleven brothers and sisters. Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Kathryn, and her husband Henry Haht of Sutherland and Margaret and her husband, Nel Kastengren of Sutherland, eleven grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren, one sister, Zelma Brauer of Cherokee, Iowa, as well as other relatives and friends
