In early childhood she was brought to this state, where her life has been spent. At the age of ten years, she intelligently consecrated her life to our Lord and has been a consistent Christian.
She married Ernest Short May 23, 1898, and since has been the mother of ten children, two of whom recently preceded her to the other land. She was one of a large family. The mother, five brothers and three sisters survive her.
The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at the Presbyterian church, her Pastor, J.M. Caldwell, conducting the service in the presence of a large gathering of sympathizing friends and neighbors.
