Mrs. Robert Woodrow, 75, died unexpectedly at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11 at her home in Fairfield.
She was Sadie Baldwin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Baldwin and was born Feb. 10, 1873, near Birmingham. She was married there, Sept. 10, 1896, to Mr. Woodrow, who survives. They lived in the Birmingham community until they retired from farming and moved to Fairfield in 1916.
Surviving besides her husband are thee sons, Arthur J. and Floyd C. of Birmingham and Harold R. of St. Louis; a brother Garfield Baldwin of Fairfield; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Owen Anderson of Quincy, Ill., and Mrs. Harley Johnson of Birmingham; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A son James preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Hoskins funeral home in Fairfield with the Dr. Curtis R. Douglas officiating. Burial was in Birmingham cemetery.
