Note: Harold died in Austin, Texas. Not sure which county, though, as there are two counties in Texas that have Austin as a city. Any clarification would be appreciated.

Harold Robert Woodrow

Harold Roobert Woodrow, 90, died at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, 1995, at Southwood Care Center in Austin, Texas.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Maple Hill Cemetery at Birmingham, with the Rev. Richard Wallarab officiating. Open visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home. A memorial has been established to the Birmingham Library.

Woodrow was born Nov. 7, 1905, in Birmingham, the son of Robert and Sadie Baldwin Woodrow. He married Gertrude Gail Jameson on Oct. 27, 1928, in St. Louis. She died March 23, 1989.

He had lived in the Ballwin, Mo., area and was a manager for a wholesale barber and beauty supply company that covered St. Louis and the Tulsa, Okla., areas.

Surviving are a daughter, Diane Roper of Buda, Texas; a grandson; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Anthony, Lloyd and one in infancy.
