Born in Torbrook Mines, she was a daughter of the late Norris and Florrie (Pooley) Banks. She is survived by daughter, Betty (Mrs. John Christian), Welland; sons, Phillip, John (Jack), Welland; sisters, Maude Keddy, Bridgetown; Jessie Coleman, Kentville; Florence (Mrs. Perley Bruce), Berwick; Laura (Mrs. Philip Johnson), Torbrook Mines; brother, Robie, Torbrook Mines; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Robie Barteaux; second husband, John Zampaloni; sister, Merna; brothers, Laurie, Willis. Funeral was held Thursday, Jan. 8 in Warren T. Roop Funeral Home, Middleton, Rev. Joy Noble officiating, with burial in Torbrook Mines United Church Cemetery. Donations may be made to Torbrook Mines United Church.
