WINNSBORO — Funeral services for Mrs. Alma T. Shipley, 80, of Winnsboro will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home with the Rev. William D. Brecht officiating.
Burial will be in Ogden Cemetery.
Mrs. Shipley, died Tuesday morning in the Franklin Parish Hospital here after a long illness.
Survivors include two sons, C. L. Shipley and J. R. Shipley, both of Winnsboro; three daughters, Mrs. Gordon Hilburn of Baskin, Mrs. Mearl Howard of Monroe and Mrs. Mary Beth Pippens of Brookhaven, Miss.; one brother, Jess Tarver of Winnsboro; one sister, Mrs. Ada J. Carroll of Winnsboro; 27 grandchildren and a number of great and great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bud Hilburn, Durham Williams, Earl Polk, Jake Kiper Jr., Frank Reese and Marshall Turnage.
