Mrs. Shipley, died Tuesday morning in the Franklin Parish Hospital here after a long illness.
Survivors include two sons, C. L. Shipley and J. R. Shipley, both of Winnsboro; three daughters, Mrs. Gordon Hilburn of Baskin, Mrs. Mearl Howard of Monroe and Mrs. Mary Beth Pippens of Brookhaven, Miss.; one brother, Jess Tarver of Winnsboro; one sister, Mrs. Ada J. Carroll of Winnsboro; 27 grandchildren and a number of great and great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bud Hilburn, Durham Williams, Earl Polk, Jake Kiper Jr., Frank Reese and Marshall Turnage.
