Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Shipley Hilbun, 84, of Baskin, LA will be held at Winnsboro First Church of the Nazarene on Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Marion Spence and Rev. Dee Boyt officiating. Interment will follow at Lone Cedar Cemetery under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home in Winnsboro.

Mrs. Hilbun was born October 17, 1922, in Winnsboro, LA and passed away Tuesday June 12, 2007 at Plantation Manor Nursing Home in Winnsboro. She was a native of Winnsboro and a resident of Baskin, a homemaker, and a member of the Winnsboro First Church of the Nazarene.

She was preceded in Death by: Husband; Gordon F. Hilbun, Father; Oscar Shipley; Mother; Alma (Tarver) Shipley; Daughter; Nancy Hilbun; Granddaughter; Bridgette Reese; Grandson; Flem Cook; 2 Stepsons; George "Son" Hilbun and Michael "Mick" Hilbun; 2 Brothers; C.L. Shipley and Earl Shipley; 3 Sisters; Elsie Barton, Mary Belle Pippins, and Merle Howard.

Survivors include: 6 Children; Mary Cecile Ragazzino and husband Joe of Tampa, FL, Elmer B. Hilbun and wife Dorinda of Dandridge, TN, Helen L. Cook and husband Arnold of Ragley, LA., Joanna Reese and husband Frank of Baskin, LA, Gerrie Osborne and husband David of Oakland, FL, and Debbie Hilbun of Walker, LA, stepson-David "Pee wee" Hilbun and wife Peggy of Denham Springs, LA., Step daughter-in-law-Edith Hilbun of Ethel, LA, Brother: J.R. Shipley of Winnsboro, LA.

She was also survived by 22 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson.

The Pallbearers will be Joe Cook, David Osborne, Jr., Frank Reese, Marshall Reese, T-Bo Reeves, and Chris Edney.

The Honorary Pallbearers will be Major Gordon L. Hilbun, USMC, Joey Ragazzino, Marina Thomas, Julie Edney, Jennifer Terrasi, Theresa Hilbun, Nancy Hilbun and Donna Cook.
