Fielding Lature Grigsby, Sr, 83 of Duncan, died Monday, Sep 7, 1998, in his home. Service will be at 10 am Friday in the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home Chapel in Marlow with the Rev Randy Southerland officiating. Burial will be in Bailey Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home.

Mr. Grigsby was born Dec 19, 1914, to Louis P. and Nellie Irene Price Grigsby in Illinois Bend, Texas. He attended Bridge Creek School. On March 4, 1939, he married Edith Deal in Marlow, OK.

Mr. Grigsby was a resident of the area all of his life. He retired as boilermaker welder. He was also a member of the NTL Boilermakers Union and Immanuel Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lous and Nellie; three brothers, Eugene, John and Louis Grigsby; two sisters, Bernice Grigsby Bailey and Edith Grigsby Hatch Creggar, a son, Donald Wayne Grigsby and a grandson, Jimmie Dale Ritter.

Bearers will be his grandsons.
