GARRISON, Texas - John Grover Grigsby, 56, of Garrison, brother of Duncan residents, died, Tuesday, April 7, 1992, in Bartow, FL.

Service will be at 2 pm Saturday in Garrison's First Baptist Church with the Rev John McGuire officiating. Burial, with Masonic graveside rites, will be in Garrison's Cold Springs Cemetery under the direction of Garrison Funeral Home.

Mr. Grigsby was born May 11, 1935, in Marlow, OK to Louis and Nellie (Price) Grigsby. Raised in Oklahoma, he moved to Garrison in 1969 from Donaldsonville, LA. He was a crew foreman with Chattanooga Boiler & Tank Co and also had been employed by CBI NACON as crew supervisory. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Garrison Masonic Lodge No. 670, Arabian Temple and Scottish Rite in Houston, and Eastern Star Lodge No. 192 in Garrison. He married Louise Smith on Aug 8, 1954.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Nellie Price Grigsby, and a brother Eugene Grigsby.
