Clarence Moseng

BENEDICT - Clarence J. Moseng, 73, Benedict, died Saturday at a Minot nursing home. Funeral Thursday at 10:30 a.m., Concordia Lutheran Church, Benedict.
Burial in the Methodist Cemetery.

Mr. Moseng was born July 4, 1908, in Minneapolis. He was reared and worked as a farm hand in the Benedict area. He also worked near Minneapolis and at Washburn. On June 16, 1935, Mr. Moseng married Mabel Bott at Broadview, Mont. They since have farmed near Benedict.

Mr. Moseng was a charter member of the Benedict Methodist church and was church treasurer for 41 years. He was a member of the Gideons and Asbury Camp Board near Washburn and had held offices on the Greely Township Board and Darrow School District.

Survivors: wife; daughters, Mrs. Shirley Huizenga, San Francisco; Mrs. Cleo Gonser, Denver, Mrs. Ruth Schmidt, Sawyer, and Mrs. Clara Red-ding, Bergen; six grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Schmidt, Minot, Mrs. Minnie Woster, Columbia Falls, Mont. And Mrs. Charlotte Borud; Minot; brothers, Arthur, Morris, and Harold Moseng all of Benedict.

Friends may call Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, Minot.
