Florence Haidle, age 84, of Billings, Montana formerly Fallon passed away Monday, September 23, 1996 at the Glendeen Nursing Home in Billings.

She was born on December 17, 1911, on the family homestead at Donnybrook, North Dakota, the daughter of Valentine and Emma Schwede Bott.

She attended the Ree Township country school in North Dakota and graduated from the Hartland high School in Hartland. Florence received her teaching certificate from Minot College and worked in Minot area until moving to Fallon, Montana where she met Bill.

Bill Haidle and Florence Bott were united in marriage on May 30, 1940 in Aurelia, North Dakota. They lived and farmed on the Fallon Flat until Bill's death in 1992 when Florence moved into Fallon. In October of l995 Florence moved to Billings where she has resided since. Florence was a member of the Evangelical Church where she taught Sunday School and sang in various choirs and special groups and was a member of the Fallon Ladies Aid. She enjoyed her flowers, crocheting, gardening, canning, reading and most of all her children, grandchildren and great - grandchildren. Her love for God was passed on to the family.

Her survivors include two sons and their wives, Irwin Haidle and Mar-ilyn of Billings, MT., and Lynn Haidle and Bonnie of Fallon, MT.; one daughter and husband Valda and Lyle Jones of Billings, MT.; brother, Abner Bott of Kettle Falls, WA.; sister Mabel Moseng of Velva, ND., six grandchildren and seven great - grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, 1992, four brothers, Valentine, Ernie, Art and Roy and infant daughter, Ethel.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 28, 1996, at 1:30 p.m. in the Fallon Evangelical Church with Pastor Mike Root and Pastor Gary Helsby officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot in the Prairie County Cemetery. Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home of Terry is in charge of arrangements.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Evangelical Church or to the Trails End Ranch.
