Ruth L. Cox, a daughter of John and Agnes (Hayhurst) Atkinson, who was born in Sedalia, 3 Sep 1894, passed away in Bartlesville, OK on 22 Dec., 1989. She married Glenn Cox, 3 Sep 1921, in Sedalia and had farmed in the Sedalia area with her husband for many years. Survivors include a son of Bartlesville, a daughter of Chula Vista, CA, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
In Sedalia, she was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church and belonged to the Striped College Extension Club.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at the church with burial in Memorial Park.
