Arthur T Atkinson died yesterday at the Harry S. Truman Memorial Hospital in Columbia. He was born in Sedalia, 19 Jan. 1901, to John and Agnes (Hayhurst) Atkinson. He had worked as a blacksmith at the MO-PAC shops until his retirement and belonged to Calvary Episcopal Church; Granite Lodge No. 272 A.F. and A.M. Scottish Rite, in Kansas City; and Pettis County American Legion Post No. 16.
A Scottish Rite service will be held Wednesday at 8 p.m. and the funeral service at 3:30 Thursday, with the burial in Crown Hill Cemetery.(Survivers taken out)
