Services for Mrs. Myrtle Burr, 94, Wilton, were held July 11 at the Rochester Methodist church with the Rev. Wayne Clark officiating. Burial was at Rochester cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ralph Morgan, Sherman Burns, Ralph Burns, Robert Maurer, Norman McQuillen and William Lovell. The organist was Mrs. Kenneth Gould.
Mrs. Burr died July 8 at Simpson Memorial Home, West Liberty following a brief illness.
The daughter of James and Melinda Morgan, she was born Aug. 8, 1883 at Tipton and was educated in rural Cedar county schools. She married John Burr on Jan. 1, 1901 at Tipton and has been a Wilton resident for the past 20 years. She was a member of the Rochester Methodist church.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
