Funeral services were held last Wednesday for Hilmer Folden, 24 years old, who died at a government hospital at Fort Harrison, Mont., a week ago Thursday at the Holt Mission church. Interment was in the Folden cemetery. Rev. Thorval Myhrer of Newfolden Free Mission church officiated.
Mr. Folden enlisted in the navy about five years ago and was retired from active service about two years ago on account of sickness contracted in the line of duty. He was born Aug. 10, 1900 and grew to manhood on the farm of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. T.B. Folden. His mother, Mrs. Folden and sister, Jennie, brought the body back for burial.
