Mrs. Alice Pearl Reardon, 60, wife of Joseph Reardon, died at 9:45 p.m. Friday at her residence, 1030 Union Street, following an illness of about three years.
Mrs. Reardon had resided in Alton for the past 29 years, coming here from Witt, Illinois.
Surviving in addition to her husband, are four daughters, Mrs. Virgil Jones, Cottage Hills, and Mrs. Charles Youngberg, Mrs. Charles Cole and Miss Audrey Reardon, all of Alton. She also leaves three sisters, Mrs. Verne Ford, Rosewood Heights; Mrs. Ivan Fox, Farmersville, and Mrs. Henry Oller, Morrisonville, two brothers, Everett Nussman, Roxana; Scott Nussman, Gillespie, and her father, Millard Nussman, Roxana, and two grandchildren.
Funeral rites will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at Streeper Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home, where friends may call after 6 p.m. today. [cardinalsnut]
