Millard Nussman died at the age of 92. He was buried in the City of Witt, Illinois Cemetery. At the age of 90 he could hold onto a small tree and hold himself straight out. He was hard of hearing. If you offered him anything at all to eat, he would always tell you "No- I don't care for any" but he was reaching for it all the time. He was a short, small man -- about 5' 6" tall and maybe 140 pounds. He was fun and very pleasant. He lived his last years with his daughter and son-in-law, Grace and Vern Ford who are also buried in Witt Cemetery.

The following obituary was published in the Morrisonville Times.

Millard Nussman, 92, formerly of Witt, died December 23 at the Mather Nursing Home in Alton after an illness of three weeks. His body was returned to the Stauder-Hoehn Funeral Home in Witt where funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. the Rev. George Baldridge, pastor of the Witt Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was made in the Witt cemetery.

Mr. Nussman died at the age of 92 years, two months and seven days. He lived in the Witt community until about 15 years ago.
