Funeral services will be Friday at 2:00 in the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home with Rev. Walter Shearer and Rev. James Hardy officiating. Burial is to be in the Smellage Cemetery.
She was the daughter of Julius Carr and the late Mrs. Jennie Leftwich Carr, and was a member of the Missionary Baptist church.
Besides her father, she is survived by her husband, Lester B. Sutton; 3 sons, Calbert C. Sutton, Walter Sutton, Baxter, Julius L. Sutton, Hawkinsville, GA; 6 brothers, Bailey and Cordell Carr, Silver Point,
Kenneth Carr, Pendleton, IN, Alcie Carr, Baxter, Lewis Carr, Silver Point, Troy Carr, Baxter, 3 sisters, Mrs. Martha Prichard, Silver Point, Mrs. Veda Bell Cowan, Algood, Mrs. Anna D. Lowe, Ft. Knox, KY; 6 grandchildren and a great grandchild.
