BAXTER: Funeral services for Kenneth V. Carr, 79, of Rural Fortville, IN, will be held Sunday, March 17, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Baxter Funeral Home. Burial will be in Smellage Memory Gardens in Baxter.
Mr. Carr died Thursday, March 14, 1996, in Hancock Memorial Hospital in Indiana.
He was born December 30, 1916, in Putnam County to the late Julius
Franklin and Virginia Leftwich Carr.
Mr. Carr was a machinist at the Chrysler plant in Indianapolis, IN,
and a member of the United Auto Workers #1226 in Indiana.
His family includes one daughter, Linda Sue Carr Gunby of Louisiana; three sons, Kenneth Michael Carr of Murray County, Carl Benton Carr of Greenfield, IN and Victor E. Carr of Maxwell, IN; one brother, Troy Carr of Silver Point, TN; one sister, Anna D. Lowe of Baxter, TN; seven grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Susie Eagle Carr.
