Mr. Carr of Rt. 1 in Silver Point, died Wednesday in Master Health Care Center in Algood after an extended illness.
A native of Putnam County, he was the son of the late Julius Franklin Carr and Virginia Leftwich Carr. He was a retired farmer.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy Julian Carr of Silver Point; a daughter, Frances Maxwell of Detroit, MI; 2 sons, Gilbert Carr and Earl Ray Carr both of Detroit, MI; 3 sisters, Martha Prichard of Silver Point; Velia Belle Cowan of Cookeville and Anna Dee Lowe of Silver Point; 4 brothers, Olcie Carr of Silver Point; Kenneth Carr of Fortville, IN; Louis Carr of Baxter and Troy Carr of Silver Point; a sisterinlaw, Ethel Carr of Cookeville; 8 grandchildren & 8 great grandchildren.
