Mr. Aston grew up and attended school in Royce City. He served in the US Army from 1939-1960 when he retired at Fort Hood as Sergeant Maor. After his retirement, he worked in accounting and finance until 1978. He was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church.
Survived by his wife; two daughters - Linda Lindstrom and Shirley Miller; two brothers - H. Aston and Bennie Aston; three sisters - Edith Armstrong, Wyona Ford, and Mrs. L.C. Elsie; three grandchildren.
