Bennie served in the United States Air Force and was a B-17 Bomber crewman in WW II. He flew 24 missions over Germany. After the Air Force, Bennie worked as truck driver for 40 years on our nations highways, only retiring from work at the age of 82.
Bennie Ray was married to Myrtle Bernice Wims. They were parents of two sons, Carl and David.
