Anna and her older sister Charlotta, were the only two to survive to adulthood. Charlotta, who was married to Carl Tiemann, died after childbirth in 1901, leaving her widower with four little children. Carl then married Anna, and they, along with her father and step-mother Louise, left Nebraska for new opportunities in Kay County, Oklahoma near Blackwell.
Unfortunately, Anna's firstborn, Ida, died before her second birthday. She had two more children:
Emma Anna (1912-2009) and Carl Fredrick (1916-1990) who did live to adulthood. Emma married Herbert Lambring and they had only one daughter, Anna Belle, who died the same day as birth.
Son Carl married Cathryn Thomas, and they had 3 children (Carolyn, Carl Ray, and Churck); from those 3 children Anna had 7 great-grandchildren.
