She was born on August 2, 1902, in Black Brook, New York, the daughter of John and Mary (Tebo) Sawyer.
She was a past member of the Catholic Daughters of America and the Holy Name Church in Au Sable Forks, New York.
Survivors include five sons, Floyd Kyea of Rochester, New York, Paul Kyea of Plattsburgh, New York, and Roger, Robert and Marvin Kyea, all of Au Sable Forks; three daughters, Virginia Wray of Vestal, New York, M. Gertrude Klubertanz of Rochester and Marlene Kyea of Corinth; one brother, Raymond Sawyer of Peru, New York; one sister, Mildred Snow of West Chazy, New York; 24 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her husband, Jerry Kyea, two sons, Wallace and Leonard, and one daughter, Charlotte, all died earlier.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 21, 1993, at 10 a.m. in the Holy Name Church in Au Sable Forks.
Burial was in the Holy Name Cemetery in Au Sable Forks.
