Curtis Mollie Simmons died at Eden Home Feb. 4, 1996 at the age of 95.

Mollie was born Nov. 4, 1900 to Harmon Isaac and Wallace (Wilson) Cagle in Montague County, Texas.

She married William Sanford Simmons Aug. 18, 1920. Mr. Simmons preceded her in death April 25, 1962.

To this union were born eight children, all of whom survive their mother: daughters and their husbands, Curtis Hill and Bob, of Sherman, Texas, Loma Hendricks and Carroll, of Clovis, N.M., Jeane Brannan and Dee, of New Braunfels, Merle Holmes and Doyle, of Lubbock, Lindel Bittick, of New Braunfels, and Ivy Moore, of Anchorage, Alaska; sons and wives, Jim Simmons and Juanita, of Denison, Texas, Walter Simmons and Barbara, of Newport, R.I. Mrs. Simmons is also survived by one sister, Ora Mae Milton, and one brother, Fred Cagle and wife Obrietta, of Amarillo. Grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews, will miss her but rejoice in knowing that she has gone to a much better place. • Mollie trusted Jesus as her Savior from the age of 16 and served her Lord faithfully for 79-years. She was a charter member of Oakwood Baptist Church and was a member there at the time of her death.

Funeral services will be at Zoeller Funeral Home Wednesday, Feb. 7, 1996 at 10 a.m. with interment and a graveside service at Floyd County Memorial Park, Floydada, Texas, Thursday, Feb. 8, 1996 at 4 p.m., where her body will be laid to rest beside her husband.

Visitation begins Tuesday, Feb. 6, 1996 at 6 p.m. and continues until service time Wednesday. The family will be present from 6 to 7 p.m.
