Wayne Michael Moses, 82, of Etowah, beloved husband, father and grandfather, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012.

Born Aug. 26, 1930, he was a native of McMinn County and lived here most of his life. He was a 1949 graduate of Etowah High School, served in the United States Army, and was retired from Safeway. He was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Oral Moses; parents, William Foster and Maggie Crockett Moses; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Reese and June Moses, and James and Katherine Moses; one sister and brother-in-law, Vida Mae Moses and Lawrence Segretto; and several other half- and stepbrothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Clendenen Moses; one daughter, Sally Moses Anguiano; one granddaughter, Lenette Moses; two grandsons, Jesse Wayne Anguiano and William Oral Anguiano; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray Clendenen of Athens, Harry and Shirley Clendenen of Cleveland, Peggy Clendenen Gaston, Clayton and Bobbie Clendenen, and Charles Rayburn, all of Etowah; nephews and nieces, Charles Clendenen, Lisa Clendenen McBride, Lori Clendenen Weber, Greg Rayburn, Kamy Rayburn Gamble, Edwin Clendenen, Greta Clendenen Fanning, Gena Clendenen Boland, Geoffrey Clendenen, Ritchie Gaston, Dana Gaston Watson and Doug Clendenen; and several great-nieces and -nephews.

The family would like to especially thank Angela Snyder for her love and support.

Pallbearers will be Clayton Clendenen, Harry Clendenen, Greg Rayburn, Ritchie Gaston, Tim Gamble and Joseph Gamble.

There will be no formal visitation. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Green Hill Cemetery with military honors.
